Mixing just the right color can be a frustrating process for beginners in watercolor.  This 3-hour workshop will begin with a discussion of the properties of various pigments that influence the color mixing process. Understanding these properties will help beginning artists make informed choices in purchasing and mixing colors.

After the initial discussion, color-mixing exercises will allow each participant to explore the properties of the pigments they are currently using in their own color palette.
