Remembering Peter Lenrow

Peter served as WAG President for the past two years and was a talented and prolific artist who put aside his own passion for painting to devote himself to the administrative tasks necessary to keep the Westport Art Group functioning. Prior to becoming President, he served for many years as an Executive Board member and Recording Secretary.  

In addition to his painting and administrative duties, he organized the WAG poetry group, was committed to developing a class in ballroom dancing to be sponsored by WAG before the covid-19 regulations made that impossible, and was instrumental in organizing the ukulele classes offered with WAG sponsorship.  He was truly a creative artist in so many modalities but perhaps more importantly, he was a true gentleman and an honest, good man.  We will miss him greatly.
