John L. Eddy

John Eddy started his career as a commercial and illustration photographer after studying with the Country School of Photography in Woodstock, Vermont. After 20 years with darkroom procedures and behind the camera, it became apparent that his real love was art. And so, now he deevotes his energy almost exclusively to painting, teaching classes and exhibiitng his works in watercolor.

John draws most of his inspiration from local scenes and his travels in England.

Mr. Eddy is an active member with the Westport Art Group. His watercolors and pencil drawings are included in numerous private collections here and in England.
