Christine Maiato FitzGerald

A New Bedford native, Christine’s interest in art began while flipping through her father’s sketchbooks, who briefly attended the Swain School of Design. Her love for artmaking persists in various forms: painting, photography and interior design.

In 2019, Christine earned her Associates in Fine Arts, magna cum laude with honors, from Bristol Community College. She completed an independent study in painting with Professional Artist, the late Jason Chase.

Christine recently served as Secretary and Treasurer on the Board of Gallery X in New Bedford. MaiatoFitz Art Gallery & Studio has a virtual existence and appointments are scheduled for viewings of her work.
