Starting with a photograph which Liz uses as reference, she applies various brush strokes by hand digitally and creates a unique background as well. After canvassing,  actual paint brush strokes are surface applied for a truly special effect and unique art of “your best friend.” 

Former professional photographer of children and families, Liz lectures on the history of photography and is author of the book Up with Aging: the art of growing older with zest, consisting of whimsical hand colored photos of seniors and text with information on aging positively.
